Why followers of Jesus have hope…

1. We can have confidence before Christ when He returns (1 John 2:28-29).
2. We are God’s children (1 John 3:1-2a).
3. We look ahead to our full transformation (1 John 3:2b-3).
   • He will appear
   • We will see Him
   • We will see Him as He is
   • We will be like Him
