The Collision of Wrath and Mercy

In Christ, we are no longer under the wrath of God.

What Christs death accomplished for us: 

1. We were in slavery to sin – Jesus came as our redeemer to pay the price for our freedom.
2. We deserved to die because of our sin – Jesus became our substitute.
3. We were separated from God because of our sin – Jesus reconciled us to God.
4. We deserve to bear God’s wrath because of our sin – Jesus became the propitiation for our sins.
