Staying on Mission

Acts 5:1-42

Proposition: We must stay on the mission of preaching and teaching Jesus

The mission is to preach and teach Jesus for the conversion of souls and their development into Christ-likeness.

1. The praise of men will tempt us (Acts 5:1-16).
   a. We will be tempted to give for the praise of men.
   b. We will be tempted to lie for the praise of men.
2. The opposition of men will try to suppress us (Acts 5:17-42).
   a. They will use physical harm.
   b. They will use shame.
