- Sex is a good thing, created and blessed by God.
- Sexual desire is good.
- Sex creates a union on physical and spiritual levels.
- Sex is to only occur within a committed covenant relationship between a man and a woman.
- Sexual pleasure is no replacement for God.
We must place our sexuality under the guidance of gospel truths…
- The unrighteous will be excluded from God’s kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9a).
- Sexual sin is unrighteousness (1 Corinthians 6:9b-10).
- Sex has been trivialized.
- Premarital Sex/Living together/Promiscuity, Lust
- Sex has been inclusive.
- Adultery, Polygamy, Open Marriages
- Sex has been peddled.
- Prostitution, Sex Trafficking, Pornography, Rape
- Sex has been exchanged for unnatural relations.
- Homosexuality, Pedophilia
- Sex has been trivialized.
- We can be redeemed from sexual sin (1 Corinthians 6:11).
