Christ, Our Passover

We see in Exodus 12:1-32 that we must apply the blood to protect us from God’s judgment.

1. A lamb or goat provided the blood to protect people from God’s judgment on Passover night.
2. The Lamb of God provided the blood to save us from God’s wrath for all time.

Why is Jesus called the Lamb of God?

• The sacrifice must be without blemish
• The sacrifice must be killed
• The blood must be applied
