Genesis 4-5 Believers are called to walk with God in a world that rejects Him. Rejection manifests itself in false worship (Genesis 4:1-7). Rejection manifests itself in hostility toward God’s people (Genesis 4:8-16). Rejection manifests itself in coping mechanisms (Genesis 4:17-24). We can find life even surrounded by depravity and death (Genesis 4:25-5:32).

Genesis 3:1-24 The world is in a fallen state because of sin. Nature is cursed. Evil is present. Natural evil Moral evil Inadvertent evil People are depraved. Jesus saves.
