New Beginnings in Elliston
For 50 years, the families of Big Spring Baptist Church served, sang, prayed, and fellowshipped on this site. We’re grateful for their history and excited that gospel ministry will continue here through a new church plant in partnership with Hope Valley Church.
At Hope Valley, our desire is to share the hope that is only found in Jesus. We believe the church exists to glorify Him, and we do that by making and growing disciples through the ministry of God’s Word. Every person bears God’s image, yet we all carry the scars and separation of sin. But God, in His great love, made a way to restore us to Himself through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. As Lord and Savior, He is worthy of all our worship!
If you’d like to know more about Jesus or this new church plant, we’d love to connect with you. Right now, we host a Bible study on-site every Wednesday at 6:30pm. In the future (date TBD), we plan to begin regular Sunday morning worship gatherings here as well.
Until then, you’re invited to join us at Hope Valley Church in Christiansburg for Sunday worship at 9:00am or 10:45am. We’d love to see you there!

Our Vision: To reach our valley with the hope that is only found in Jesus and see lives transformed by the grace of God. Disciples will grow in knowledge and obedience in the context of missional small-group communities and sound biblical preaching during large group worship. We will be a multi-generational church of spiritually strong families committed to multiplying disciples and churches for the glory of God.
